September 30th, 2012, Sunday!

Woof! Last day of the month already! Yesterday, while I was out for my walk, I ran into an older woman and her 5 year old dog named, Sassy.
What a hunny she was!
Anyway, her mistress said that after she had lost her husband and her son, she had adopted Sassy and she felt that that was what was keeping her going these last years because she had someone who looks after her and also for her to look after.
I was very touched by her story and thought it was really great and good for her health as well.
Just wanted to share that with you! Have a wonderful Sunday Everyone!

Happy Woof! Saturday Everyone! Today I want to talk about wires and electrical devices. You know, the blow dryer, the iron and the extention plug! ha! ha! but, seriously, us pets have one rule and one only," If it looks like it needs to be chewed, we will and we can."
So, to help us out, humans have a very special role and that is to protect us by not leaving things on or around so we won't get hurt.

Aroo! Hi Everyone! Today, I want to talk about something nasty, Poop and Pee!
Pooping and Peeing is very important to both humans and animals. So, please take notice if you see or smell the following:
- Bad or different odor of pee or poo
- If you're animal is dragging their behinds on the ground or your carpet, could indicate worms
- If your animal has white strings in their poop, could be worms.
- If there is blood in the poop or pee.
-If the poop is multicolored, could be crayons.
- And lastly, if there is diarrhea.
Best to check with the vet to make sure all is well!

Woof! Hi Everyone! You know it occurs to me that life is very simple if you are a dog. I mean, you eat, you sleep, you play a little, you poop, you pee and you do it all over again day after day, ad nausium.
Humans on the other hand, have to pay bills, talk politics, feed and clothe their children etc..
Now, of course we animals have a hierarchy, you've probably read about that in books like "Animal House" and even "Charlotte's Web" but, we don't have poverty or jobs or divorce.
Personally, I think we have a better life in general. What's your opinion?

Aroo! Everyone!  I know it's a bit early to be talking about winter but, I just wanted to mention that protecting your pet's paw pads are an absolute must in the ice and snow.
Paws can freeze and cause many problems including frostbite and Arthritis.
So, buy some booties for them! and maybe a coat!

Why not try a child gate on your kitchen door, this way your puppy has a designated area to roam and his or her toys to play with and they can't get into your stuff.
One last thing, please don't get mad at them if they do chew because it's only what comes natural.
