Happy Friday Everyone! Let's call it "Fry" Day instead! It sounds more yummy! Today, I want to talk about plants. Leaving your household plants around animals can be dangerous to them especially if they think it's a treat!
Outdoor plants can also be a threat so, please keep an eye out and watch what they may be chewing on and watch out for contaminated water for example water from rain puddles in the parking lot.

Aroo! Happy Thursday! Do you ever wonder what your pet is thinking? They say you can speak to us using mental telepathy. Do you believe that? I often think, am I really understanding what your saying or are you subconscientously transmitting it to me.

Aroo! How's everyone doing on this fine Tuesday? I thought, I would talk about love today, that is doggy love. So to get us in the mood, I posted the sappy love song above. Hope you like it! Anyway, I want to say since there really isn't a measurement on love, here is my opinion. Do I miss my mom and dad? Yes, I do. Do I miss my children or Butch? Yes, I do. Do I miss my family when they leave the house? Yes, I do! Woof!
There have been reports of Dogs dying from a broken heart when there owner leaves or passes on. So, what does this mean to me? Yes, I think, I can love. What do you think? Aroo! Here is a nice but creepy video for you to check out because of that nasty hurricane Isaac! I do want to talk about pet safety during a storm or other natural disaster.
My rule is this, free your animals! They know how to avoid natural occurrences and they know when they are coming so, pay attention if your animal is acting weird or starts running in the other direction with no apparent reason. Do you know that no animals got hurt during the Tsunami in Thailand?!
Don't worry we will always come back the next day for food. A huge shout out to my creator's mom Helen who will be celebrating her 76 year birthday! Happy Birthday Helen! Oh, and just relaxing from another wonderful day on holiday! Happy Sunday everyone and stay tuned! Bottom:)

Aroo! Vacation started and I am having a blast! We are in a B&B in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. What fun I am having chasing the seagulls and tide moving in and out. I just can't seem to catch it! Woof! Are you happy it's Friday? Yes, Get down, get funky! Get your waddle on! I am going on a holiday weekend with the family and they found a neat little bed and breakfast for us to stay in and it's really great that I can come too!
It may not be an ideal vacation for everyone but, I don't feel left out. Since there are a lot of places that allow pets, it's best to Google the area your going to be in to see if there is the right place for your family and your pet. I will let you know how my vacation is going!

Thursday! August 23rd

Wow,Woof! What is going to happen today!!! Time to go back to school! Dogs go to school too.
Some go to obedience school, some go K9 school, and some go to school to help people with disabilities for example, for people who are blind and people who can't hear. The great thing is that we are very capable of learning. So, here is a lesson lol, Woof! Take your dog to school, it will be very rewarding for you and your family. Hey Everyone! Woof! Today.I want to talk about collars..There are so many different kinds. I like the "Halty" myself but the chain choke collar is ok too. Most importantly, they have to fit properly or we can get caught on something and choke to death.
Also, it is important for identification purposes. Not just for dogs but, for cats too! So, check your local Petsmart or Petco to find one and try it on. How's everybody doin today? I can't hear you! Yea! Great! Woof! "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." Whoa! There I go again sounding like a commercial..ha!ha!
Today I wanted to talk about shedding. It's normal of course for your pet to shed, especially when it's time for the season to change but, when they loose too much hair or when they are scratching and there is considerable redness, it's best to take them to their veterinarian. Aroo! Are you having a great day so far! On Sundays, I try to look back on the week and see what I am grateful for, Woah! Woof! Who am I? Oprah? Not. SATURDAY! August 18th, 2012

Woof Everyone! Have you had your breakfast this morning? Me, I had some dry food, mixed with a half a can of canned food. I love all different brands such as Eukanuba, IAMS and Rotation just to name a few. All that really counts is that you get the food that lists meat first, if your not a vegetarian dog and then the rest ingredients. Also using the right formula for your dog such as puppy food or senior food is important too! Just like you wouldn't give a human baby solid food, you have to watch what you give your dogs as well! So now that you know, I am going to lie back and watch the Saturday morning line up on Pet Network and Animal Planet, maybe some Disney this Afternoon, I do love Disney! Woof, rr, hello! Feelin the pinch from my workout! Dogs are just like humans,they need proper food, exercise and lots of love and affection. Dogs, Like me tend to get into the obesity situation because we can give you that sad look; Like we never ate in our whole life. Be strong and "just say No!" Summing up this weekend, I am supporting two charities and very proud to do so, a big shout out to my friends at Talkin Pets Radio for posting and letting their listeners know about Bark for Life. Did you ever wonder why dogs bite? Not me, I've always made a high pitched noise before I strike. Traditionally, Bassett's were used for hunting animals like Mink and other hole dwellers.
